I'm kind of surprised you think 850,000 would be a good number for Mayweather, because in m opinion this was a better fight by far than Pacquiao-Clottey (700,000 buys), was better-marketed, had a young Mexican-American fighter coming off his best fight (and one of the best-rated HBO fights of the year), and received the 24/7 treatment too. I thought this card would break a million buys with ease, and I think the number might reflect casual fans being turned off of Mayweather's unexciting fights.

@FlareXyron I have learned not to underestimate the idiots that keep buying PPV and eventually the economy is going to catch up which is what i guess happened with this fight.

Pactards, Flomo's-- both sides have their arguments. I just stay out of it. I have been a Mayweather fan since '97 and will always be a Mayweather fan, but all these clowns who like Mayweather are just killing legitimate fans.

As for David Haye-- nothing wrong with getting paid. More power to him, I have nothing negative to say about the guy. Can't say I have ever been a fan, but it is what it is.

I am hoping JM Marquez puts the hands on Pacquiao, however, I know better-- Marquez is too old and Pacquiao just keeps getting stronger and faster. He must be a demi-god.

Pacquiao vs Marquez 2 round 8 is the round you should watch. Pacquiao was backed up by Marquez quite a bit! Do you think that will happen in this fight? I doubt it.
