this song will forever remind me of simpler and more beautiful times in my life & the man who was my best friend, co-worker and constant companion..of cooking his favorite dinner, which (at the time) was precisely as described in the lyrics. still brings me to tears after all these years.

I wore my KLP tape out back in the day from playing it so much and this song was a big reason why. Such a subtle little classic with hypnotic guitar work. The verses around the "she pulls her dress over her head" are my top fav. Anyway, CVB is solely responsible for a musical awakening in me in college in eighties prior to which my musical taste was sh!t.. No one I knew back them listened to them.

I can't think of a better love song. It didn't work on the first woman I wanted to marry but it was for the best.
