This is my 2003 Grand Marquis, on the drivers side is an LED turn and park light bulb, on the passenger side is the standard bulb. I am not to happy that the led is not brighter then the standard bulb.

  • it will be a while before LED bulbs are as bright and useful as halogen bulbs

  • @egpg2000 u mean lumens

  • @paintballgundown8 Your welcome. Glad I could help.

  • @odlsc87 saw this vid watch?v=UOX0Rtpq5O4 and it changed my opinion. although having this much brightness seems overkill i am interested in the reverse lights. thanks for the info

  • @mastermind48451 Your welcome.

  • @paintballgundown8 Yes I have only bought from V-leds. Just watch with the turn signals because you will probly have to get a new flasher or install load resistors to prevent hyper-flashing. For reverse lights I would probly look at something like their 7W LEDs. PM me if you decided to get anything from them or if you need anymore help. I might be able to get you a discount from them. My brake lights can light up signs that are 3 blocks away at night to give you an idea of how far they will go.

  • @odlsc87 and these were from vled? I would imagine a whole bunch of 3-chip SMD LEDs would have ability to make it LOOK brighter but my main concern is haw fat the light goes. Im gunna search into this and watch some videos. If anything ill get some turn signals and reverse lights for speed and brightness

  • @paintballgundown8 Before I put LEDs in my taillights you couldn't even tell in the day time they were on. Now you can see that they are on and at night the taillights light up a few feet behind me on the ground. I only use the radial firing LEDs and not the forward firing ones, which only have LEDs that face forward, for the lights on the outside of my car because they fill up the light housings and giving you better light coverage and projects it like a normal bulb would.

  • @odlsc87 i admit i have never payed 20 bucks for an LED bulb but Its just experience that in daylight its hard to see an led. i havnt seen any high performance leds in real life. Most videos of leds always show minimal light thrown on walls and roads and dont actually project light outwards very well

  • @odlsc87 Thanks for your comment. Never heard of V-LED, but I am going to check them out. Thanks for the Recommendation.
