Skip the 2nd bomb slot in Construction Bay on Elysia. This can be done a lot faster than what is in this video. If done quick enough, this would probably only save 5 seconds at most. This might not be worth doing because it is very difficult to do this quickly.

How to do this...

1. Get a good position on the grapple before you let go. There might be better positions to do this, but the easiest one I've found (still difficult) is the postition used in this video.

2. Use the scan visor to make Samus fall off the grapple. This allows you to use the wiimote to control Samus immediately after getting off the grapple. If you don't use the scan visor when falling off the grapple, you can't really control Samus with the wiimote.

3. Take off the scan visor immediately after using it. You will still have control of Samus with the wiimote.

4. Hope that you made it to the curved platform-like thing so you can get a good position to get to the next grapple. Otherwise, you'll fall too fast and it is incredibly difficult to latch on to the next grapple (It is not impossible though, and if you can do it, it is the fastest way).

4. While on the curved platform thing, try to get to the next grapple.

  • If that's true then wouldn't it be faster to activate the second slot since you have to go in and activate the third anyway?

  • We're assuming the player activated the third bomb slot, so samus would've been clear to land at the end.

As for your other question, I'm not sure but I highly doubt it :S

  • Nice, but where do you go after that?

It didn't look like you could go anywhere.

    Another question:

Is it possible to use the Screw Attack right after letting go of the Grapple? I'm guessing not, but it would be a nice feature if it were possible.
