  • I really don't care how other people dance. In fact im not watching this video because it was titled "dnb dancing." No im watching it because its kj sawka. People need to shut up and get over their superiority complexes. "oh yeah well we dance better here in so and so" and the town or country you're dissing probably says the exact same thing. Its really dumb and not even the focus of the video. The focus is kj sawka kicks ass, watch him play, enjoy it and then move on with your life.

  • What I will never understand is why the fuck people will always compare KJ Sawka to someone like Neil Peart just based on what is displayed. I mean, fuck, he's doing A LOT, and what the so-called "music geniuses" out there fail to realise is that the drums in DnB are just meant to be grooves, so there's no place in the music for theatrics like most rock and jazz drummers. They also fail to realise that KJ Sawka is OBVIOUSLY skilled in the jazz genre, and he shows it in his grooves.

  • I have been drumming for 26 years, and this guy is a-friggin-mazing. Its enough to keep a beat over multiple drums, much less DJ your own tracks while you're doing it. To the guy who said Steve Gadd isn't theatrical, or doesn't have insane fill, hasn't watched or listened to Gadd the Godd much.

  • I prefer groove over the flashy, theatrical, "insane fill" type drumming. That's why Steve Gadd, David Garibaldi, and KJ Sawka are three of my favorite drummers. They are no better or worse than the Neil Pearts, and Mike Portnoys of drumming.. It's just that drummers that stay deep in the pocket for what seems like hours is what I think great drumming is all about.

  • @Savateboy at 6:37 it's "the eyes have it" by Spor, not sure about the other one :)

    10/5!

  • I was lucky enough to see this guy live when he came to dallas. He brought the house down and blew everyone out of the water when he began his set. Its an intense experience and I highly suggest that you catch him live when you can.

  • I just fucking love his version of "The Eyes Have It" by Spor. Sounds even more brutal

    This man is a genius
