Emmas P.O.V.
I am so excited!!! I mean why wouldnt I be! Tonight is the prom that I am going to with Ryan! I was in a very big dilemma trying to decide my outfit and hairdo. Well me, Jenna, and Jane all got ready together. Poor Jane she has to go with Ryans cousin that she doesnt even know. Well I decided with a gorgeous long strapless dress. It was black and sparkly, and I topped it off with black heels. Well for my hair I decided to curl it and part it to the side, everyone kept saying I was beautiful but OF COURSE I am beautiful!!! Well Jane she is wearing a white knee-length dress, with a thick black belt. She is adorable! We forced her to straighten her hair and she is wearing a black headband with it. Jenna on the other hand was IMPOSSIBLE to get in a dress but after a lot of convincing we got her into a navy blue long dress that had white and blue ruffles at the end. It was amazing. Her hair we pulled up into a bun and her bangs are hanging down. Everyone looks amazing especially ME!!! Well we are riding in a limo my parents reserved for us to the dance.
"We all look amazing!" I say.
"Yeah totally," Jenna says.
"Looks like were here."
"Come on guys"
We walk inside. As soon as I walk in the only thing I am looking for is Ryan. But first I say this really hot boy. "Theres a hot one," I say.
"Yeah totally!" Jane says. Then I hear someone shout my name. I whirl around and see Jason. "Oh hey Jason," I say feeling my face get red. "Sorry I got to go," I say quickly and run off into the crowd. CRAP!!! I forgot this was for 9th and 10th graders. That means Jason and Ryan will both be here.
"Hey Emma, you look wonderful," thankfully its Ryan this time. He looks so cute with his bleach blonde hair and sky blue eyes. Very handsome, thats for sure.
"Hey, Oh and thanks."
"No prob. Do you want to get a drink?"
"Uh sure."
We walk over to the refreshment table. He pours me a glass of fruit punch.
"Oh whoops. I hope you like fruit punch."
"Its fine." I giggle.
"Before I forget lets introduce Jane to Connor."
"Ok".
We walk into the crowd searching for Connor and Jane. I cant help thinking of what Connor looks like. Then Ryan finds him. Oh, MAN!!! He was the one I thought was hot earlier. I should of known they look a lot alike. Jane will be happy for sure!!! Finally after like 20 minutes we find Jane.
"Hey Jane," I say.
"Hey everyone."
"Ok Jane this is my cousin Connor and Conner this is my friend Jane oh and this is my date Emma," Ryan says. I can feel my face turn as red as a tomato when he says date.
"Hey," Jane says.
"Hello Jane. Nice to meet you."
They walk to the dance floor, and start dancing. Now its just me and Ryan.
"So would you like to dance?"
"Umm Sure."
We walk out to the dance floor and I swear this is the best day of my life. I can feel my heart pounding like crazy. I am flipping out that I will like mess up dancing and stuff. Uh-oh! Well here I go.
"You know I like your hair down."
"Oh thanks."
He smiles.
"You look very nice tonight too."
"Why thank you."
"Why your welcome."
I giggle. The song changes to some more upbeat music.
"I am going to run to the bathroom real quick," I say.
I quickly run off to go to the bathroom and then hopefully find Jane and Jenna. Of course it just happens that I see Jason on my way back.
"Hey Emma," he says.
"Hey," I respond shyly.
"Would you like to dance?"
"Sure!"
We walk out to the dance floor; again, I feel the tingly feeling inside. After, we dance for a while I tell him I have to go. When I finally find Jane, she seems VERY happy. I bet it is because of Connor.
"Why you seem very happy," I say.
"I know because I am," Jane says smiling.
"Why?"
"Well Connor is so nice and he is very good looking!"
"Yeah I bet. He is like Ryans twin"
"LOL"
We both crack up.
Ok I better go, she says running off.
I bet someone is happy about dancing with Connor. OoO-la-la!!!
Buzzz. I pull out my phone there are two texts: OMG!!!!
Ryan: Will you go out with me like boyfriend and girlfriend?
Ryan: =)
Jason: =)
Jason: Do you wanna be my gf?
