11 Year Old Benched For Scoring Too Many Touchdowns? Kids playing in the Malvern Leopards games who score too many touchdowns will be punished by the Madre Hill Rule! Should an 11 Year Old be Benched For Scoring Too Many Touchdowns? Principal Bryant said the rule is not there to punish but to help teach other kids how to play football.

Jimerson did play some games before they invoked the Madre Hill Rule. SHould kids score as many touchdowns as they want without being punished by the Madre Hill Rule? Eleven year old kids should learn that trying harder and doing better mean getting rewarded not punished.

i understand the philosophy behind the rule but at the same time i agree with you. if he is going to ball out on the field and get told he cant do that....i don't know that seems opposite of what should be said. He is a great athlete and he has such a bright future. i can see both sides though. good post.

The kid should be playing grade 7 games....If he is too good for his age group, move him on up for more of a challenge. Hes gonna go places, and this would help him
