@TheSonicGod There is. At least in Hill Top 1 and Mystic Cave 1. Waiting 2 seconds to reduce the time bonus saves a few seconds in tallying those 40000 extra points. Casino Night 1 and Oil Ocean 1 are too close for me to tell w/o a stopwatch. But I think the 19:55 count simply adds up the game-reported times.

Anyone else think TAS runs of Sonic are the way it should be? They are so fun to watch. This is Sonic as he is meant to be.

Not even the water in chemical plant could keep up with Sonic. At the boss battle, it was like "oh shit! SOnic's early?! he's never early! Wait for-...oh damn, the battle's over?!"
