It seems to be hit or miss with Lowe's. I put my pitchers from there in a window at home without the lid on the death cube, and some of the original pitchers shrivel up and turn brown. But it puts out new pitchers that are more accustomed to the new environment. The same thing will happen when I put them outside in the spring: some will shrivel up, but new pitchers will come out that will be able to handle the new outside environment.

nice! but how on earth did you get them from lowes in GOOD condition? i have gotten a purple pitcher there before, with only 5 pitchers. that was the only semi- healthy plant there. all the vfts had either one or two traps. and when exposed to flourescent lightbulb ( since they didnt get that much light i had to harden them off to brighter and brighter light) their leafs burned like mad.

Very nice. I buy my carnivorous plants at the Georgia Nature Center, but I cant belive you bought these plants at Lowes they are in a great condition!
Nepenthes wont make any trick in this condition, 90% humidity will help and I dont think you get it outside, the others are really really beautiful, well done.

@barryterno I've since moved the nepenthes indoors where it's about 50% humidity and it's made plenty of traps. I plan on trying it outside this spring in partial sun. It's been inside for over a year. Thanks for the compliments. :)

how in the world can you keep that nepenthes outside! that is AWESOME!!! in the summer around here it's warm enough, but in the winter i would have to bring them inside...

@TheDistortionBassist I don't keep it outside anymore. I did that one summer and into the fall, but now it lives in a south-facing glass block window inside. I'm afraid to put it back into the sun, thinking it'll burn, but I know it'd catch a lot more bugs out there and probably be bigger.
