WARNING: This film uses broad terms, hyperbole and deliberately disparaging language entirely for the purpose of analysing misandry, and for NO other reason.

Looks at the portrayal of tough women, genius women and heroic women on our screens and the simultaneous attempt to relegate men.

• Are men shallow when it comes to courting?
• Arthur Schopenhauer on women
• Women, make-up and the visual lie
• Manipulation and women's hidden weapons
• Where are all the strong women?
• Women and computers are not generally the best match

It's a shame that you have willfully misunderstood what I said and have degenerated into pathetic mud-slinging.

You're too ignorant to appreciate it, but my comment about factories applied to men turning up as well as women. You assumed I meant only women because YOU are the "hater" you accuse me of being.

History is what it is and idiots like you are what you are. C'est la vie.

If women were really the best at all these things, we wouldn't need movies like this to shove the point down our throats. This is nothing more than feminist propaganda at its finest.

The Dr. Who scene would have been much more impressive if the woman was protecting ONLY a man. Instead, she was protecting both a man and a woman, which begs the question: Would she have still sacrificed herself if there wasn't a woman that needed protecting? What if only the man was there? Would she have turned tail and run then or would she have still stood her ground? I find the prospect of her standing her ground to be somewhat... unbelievable.

I allways do the dishes while my wife battles demons in the neighborhood. Anything odd about that?

Also, strong women is not a product of contemporary feminism. In Hindu and Greco-Roman mythologies there has always been goddesses of wars and hunters such Athene, Diana, or Kali. There's something inherently human in fantastic depictions because secretly it has always been 'men' that wish for strong independent 'women' that would understand the male mentality.

Again, I understand that men have always been the ones to fight and sacrifice. Strong women are fantastic in the most literal sense hence they are on Hollywood. Fictional media does not always reflect reality. Perhaps this is a bad thing, as I believe you are suggesting, but it can also be for the better. Human nature is malleable, even genes are regulated through indoctrination and experience. Are you suggesting that women should not learn the values of strength, independence, or sacrifice?

Actually, works of fiction are a great way to identify societal trends. From racist books in the 19th and early 20th century, to propaganda fantasy films from World War II, fiction often is a great way to determine what's going on in a society.

You don't know this. You have no idea what would happen on such a hypothetical scenario. It's not like every single alien invasion movie out there has women saving the day. Ripley was the exception and she was meant to be a man from the very beginning. The production hired a woman the play the role and the script was not changed. You may make some very good points about a very important subject here, but you cannot change the fact that you are letting your hate and prejudice cloud your judgment.
