I love Hugh Marsh music, thats why i found this Steve Band, i never heard about him before. I need those live dvds. My english is not good, but i think his lyrics are focused on god. Unfortunatelly i live in Brazil and i dont know how i will buy those dvds. Thanks for the info Mesfavoris.

It's called a Chapman stick apparently. It's played by touching the strings and covers the full range of a bass and regular guitar. That's what I recall from Hugh Marsh's comments on the video.

Steve has a couple of versions on different CDs ... the original more acoustic/studio version. This live one with the Marsh Bros. adding violin and Chapman stick... And a Symphonic version done recently with the Winnipeg Symphony. There are probably samples at his website.
