Atheist implies theists are idiots on live, national TV

It's a matter of language. I think believing in something which is not evidential, is idiotic. But it doesn't make the believer an idiot.
Theists make such unreasonable claims, it's was nice to see a theist using some unreasonable language at them for a change.

@sajakram1 just because we don't know how something happened, doesn't mean it was magic. And once the earth was formed, the process which lead to there being grains of wheat is well understood. It just requires a willingness to learn and the intelligence to grasp concepts like evolution. Modern wheat, of course, is a product of man's science.

Faith is diametrically opposed to knowledge. Some people take their faith so seriously that they are willing to murder others for even questioning it and they can't even prove that what they believe is true. What she said may be a little rude but that's only because its the harsh reality of the situation that believers don't' want to face.
