  • if you see the end its sad

  • its spongebob

  • When i look at this thing, goosepumps came out.

  • Why didn't it sting him??

  • @JohnnyRadman Those who speak of "animal cruelty" in regards to experimentation do not mean to say experimenters have bad intentions or act cruelly just to be cruel. Thus, you're changing the dialogue so that you can argue against strawmen with false intentions.

My wish for aliens, in their own search for knowledge, to experiment on humans without regards to human feelings was a rhetorical device to induce empathy. Apparently, empathy doesn't come easily for everyone.

  • @jgbloyd If you are going to advocate human experimentation, then arguing you should force it on others makes you just as cruel as them. I was saying if you actually believe human experimentation is the way to go, you should advocate for it yourself: I didn't realize you meant to use it as petty vengeance.

You said they were cruel. Cruel implies mal intent.

If you realize they weren't trying to make it suffer, why willingly make them suffer for their ignorance? That seems more cruel.

  • @JohnnyRadman I do experiment on myself, already. I prefer being the lead scientist on studies of myself.

If I dislike the methods used by others on others, it is illogical to conclude I should volunteer myself to those same experiments. Check your logic.

I never said they were merely trying to make it suffer. Check your English.

Appeals to Nature are fallacies. War, rape, murder are all "natural"; does not make them ideal.

  • @jgbloyd Starting with you? Not many people are willing to back human experimentation. If you think experimentation shouldn't be done on animals, then the only reasonable thing to do would be to volunteer your own body.

These people aren't trying to make it suffer. They are trying to better understand it. People all have different ways of harmonizing with nature. Some people find harmony when they can understand it better. It's a natural interaction: for humans, to, are of nature.

  • Nice thing to do

  • @LoOpEddy Yes, in the name of research, all the more reason to experiment with humans.
