Indian Martial Arts are so under rated, But Thanks to the internet the world will get to learn about Kalari a real Martial Art. Is there a Kalari school in the New York City area that teaches this explosive art ?

I love how angryaznman feels the need to post that same thing on every single kalari performance on youtube that I've seen so far. How pathetic. Though you may make valid points (I don't know; I have not checked the sources myself and considered their biases too, or the fac that they may be considered unrepresentative of the opinions of others in their field), you show a great deal of malice. Shaolin kung fu seems a combination of local martial arts and indian influences, yet uniquely chinese.

so not only did the FIRST 2 shaolin monks already know kung fu, not only was there chinese MA BEFORE kalari.

but last but not least, the ONE source that give bodhi credit, is the PREFACE of the 1800s VERSION of the Yi Jin Jing (not in the YJJ itself). This preface is also full of errors. Martial Arts Historians Tang Hao, Xu Zhen and Matsuda Ryuchi have now discredited the preface and the bodidharma myth as well. END.

Kung Fu did NOT come from India. Boddhidharma only taught zen techniques like breathing first of all. second, the first shaolin monks were already masters in kung fu. third, bodidharma was suppose to be a master of Kalari....end part 1

i gurukkal uses 2 urumi's at the same time.. but i've never seen anybody else do it.
