A Gallup poll released this summer showed that 93% of Muslim-Americans believe that the Muslim community in the US is loyal to America. According to a Pew Research Poll which showed among evangelicals in the US, 70% see themselves first as Christians rather than as Americans, while 22% say they are primarily American. Talk radio host David Sirota discusses.

  • Actually if religious people are honest, whether they are Muslim or Christian, they WOULD put their religion over their country, because their religion explicitly demands that they value their faith above all else. This is precisely why religion is harmful. It makes normally rational people concerned about unsubstantiated and unproven nonsense more so than the things of this world which do matter.

  • Consider this. South Park has portrayed Jesus in a negative light on several occasions but the minute they take a shot at Muhammad, Parker and Stone are threatened with physical violence.

  • You evangelicals are sick! You voted for Gingrich who cheated on his wife 3 times and yet you hate Obama because he is black! Screw you Evangelicals and fuck Santorum!

  • @Vortex1988 Two words: Old Testament. In the OT, death was prescribed for certain "sinners". But the big difference between Islam and Christianity is Christ. The death and resurrection of Christ on the cross gives people a choice. So the law did not change, but the punishment did. "The Lord will judge his people." - Hebrews 10:30. A "true" Christian would not do that. But a "true" Muslim would, or else they are not truly following the Quran.

  • @alphacause Sir or maddam, i tip my hat to you.

  • Now, I've seen the movie "Jesus Camp" and I've seen a few Fundamentalist views on my state and our country. I won't lie that i think they would commit an act of terrorism than people of the muslim faith! Most Fundamentalists have been known for bombing Abortion clinics and Killing abortion Doctors, Assaulting members of the LGBT community or black mailing people who try to help gay rights! I would keep a sharp eye on the Fundies people. Keep a sharp eye on them ALL!

  • @EzekielWinnfield So if a Christian does something violent, then he's not a Christian, but if a Muslim does something violent, then obviously all Muslims are bad? That type of logic also led to the holocaust and persecution of blacks.

Perhaps you haven't read the Bible, because it's just as violent as the Quran.

And believe me, if I had it my way all these ancient religions would die out, but in the United States you have the freedom to believe in whatever religion you want without persecution

  • @indiereplicant ROFL

The fact that you're an over-generalizing moron who condemns someone for agreeing with someone you don't really kills your argument. If I were one of those rabid O'Reilly fanboys, why would I even be watching RT? Why would I support movements like Occupy Wall Street and support Ron Paul as a presidsential candidate? But that's ok, by the "Thumbs Up", I see that plenty of people agree with my original statemwnt. Good day, sir!

  • @EzekielWinnfield Considering the fact you just came out as a Bill O'Reilly supporter, everything you say is invalid. Enjoy your Zionist funded media.

  • @Vortex1988 wwwDOTthereligionofpeaceDOTcom/Quran/023-violenceDOThtm

109 verses calling for Muslims to "kill the Infidel".

And I actually think O'Reilly was right in that case, though I usually disagree with him. If you get a chance, check out, "Islam: What the West Needs to Know". It's very eye-opening.

  • @EzekielWinnfield You mean like the Christian extremist in Norway who went to an elementary school and killed children and teachers? You know, the one that Bill O'Reilly claimed wasn't really a Christian because a Christian wouldn't do something like that, which is ironic because you could say the same thing about Muslim extremists, but O'Reilly and the rest of Fox News doesn't mind bashing Muslims and calling them all terrorists.

  • @indiereplicant I don't want to lock people in a dungeon, and my joke obviously went right over your head.
