Town Without Pity - Gene Pitney (cover)

This song is a hit from Gene Pitney, back in 1961. It was from a movie of the same name, but I didn't have that movie so I used another public domain movie called "The Stranger" to make this video. Even though the footage is just random scenes from an unrelated movie, the footage is infinitely more interesting than watching me sing (in my opinion :o) A few YouTube listeners suggested I sing this song several months back ... It is certainly not Gene Pitney, but hey... you get what you pay for :o)

I commented before on your talented singing ability, comparing you to the late great Gene Pitney who I knew personally. You've got a powerful clear singing voice that I think would be tailored for "I'm Gonna Be Strong". Love to hear you sing that one, if you get the chance.

P.S. You should consider trying out for America's Got Talent next time around. I'm sure you could go far on a show like that and get some nationwide attention that you deserve.
