I liked the Cars, but let's face it, they're bubblegum pop. There are many other and way better American bands like the E Street Band, the Eagles, Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, Heartbreakers(Petty), Pearl Jam, Fleetwood Mac, the Doors, Aerosmith, Skynyrd, Metallica, and even the Talking Heads; the Cars aren't even in the conversation and that's why they had trouble getting 500 people at a Philly venue a few years ago.
