don't get me wrong, he won't be going around trumpeting the official Chinese position in his spare time, but if faced with questions on the topic, he would wisely support the Chinese position. Even a neutral stance will be viewed unfavorably by the Chinese government.
-
China is a much bigger market, he'll side with China if doing so will get him better treatment from the Chinese government

Part 2...Theyare strong. They are dangerous. Don't join with them then they'll blow Taiwan up with 1000 strong missile capability pointed right at the island. That's Taiwan only . Stop glorifying a bully.
-
Taiwan should never join, but it has no choice . Even though it had independence already, it must comply with the good country one policy deal. This is how china bullies people. And I will say no more because obviously 1xmarksspot knows nothing. They are professional in the murdering and controlling , you'll see it's wrath in a very short time. The whole world will.

@rabz777 "China is a bully!" ...and who has China act aggressively towards? No one.
-
@wazzy3007 LOL Jim won't side with anyone. He's an investor. His main objective is to make money.
-
@rabz777 taiwan needs to join with china and combine their economy to become Asia's most powerful
-

The date on the title of the video should not be April 2009. This probably is a 2007 video since he mentioned his daughter who is four. Happy was born in 2003 and has just turned 6 years old.

In all likelihood, this interview was conducted in 2007. In the interview, Jim says that "A Bull in China" will be published soon; the book was published in December 2007. Also in this interview, Jim complains about the alleged bellicosity of the Taiwanese government; in March 2008, Taiwan elected a new President who promised to be much less confrontational toward Mainland China.
