There is a hole in this, all that ice is displacing more liquid water than is actually in it, meaning when it melts, the sea level will drop, it's the properties of liquid displacement.

Lol, this is funny.

This is the RESULT of those "ideals" as "liberalism", "Free market", "overconsumtion" and all the results of the CAPITALISM and "falce democracy"! Thank You!

Can we see the same comparison but on the antarctic?
-
@uscentrist Hopefully, there will be some unseen natural thermostat that will kick in soon. If it doesnt we are kindof screwed. Im slightly hopeful because Antartica ice seems to have thickened due to incresed precipatation. If warmer tempretures massivly increase cloud cover and precipatation perhaps this will help. Still With all the open water absorbiing sunlight, too little, too late.

The worst part is that as ice melts, sun rays reflection diminishes, as oceans absorb heat better than the ice itself due their color. Thus global warming feeds itself.
Parvati, a Canadian singer is thus going to sing in the North Pole to bring more awareness to this issue. We need everyone to do their part, artist, scientists, you!
Guys, it's very simple. All that ice scientists are panicking about melting now, was at one time once all water. See? So how can it be unnatural?

@jerak984 Using your logic we can then assume that if one takes snow that falls naturally outside and puts it in a pot on a stove over a flame, then the melting of that snow is a natural process.
Just because you think your logic makes sense, does not mean it 'actually' makes sense. try reading up on the processes at ossfoundation.us

At that rate it looks more like we've got 2 years before north pole deep ice is gone

It is important to understand that there are natural variation factors involved. A virtually ice free summer could be between 10 years and 30 years from now. The data suggests that 15 to 20 years is an approximate target.
But it will happen. And while the exact year is not known, the confidence is high within the given range. More importantly is the fact that action is needed now to avoid the worst effects. climatelobby - fee and divided @FeeAndDividend
