Visit to Vietnam: Da Nang & Hai Van Pass

After staying a while in Hoi An, I was able to get my new friend Jerry to go with me on a day trip through Da Nang and up the Hai Van Pass.
My father was stationed in Da Nang with the USMC - VMFA 232 in 1972, so we visited the places he would have seen in Da Nang, the airbase or airport, and of course China Beach.
After going through Da Nang, we took a drive up the famous Hai Van Pass. It was an amazing drive, well worth the visit, "one of the greatest coast roads, in the world."
