This is a segment from the 1976 film, "All This and World War II", which featured Keith Moon singing "When I'm 64".

Although it doesn't feature the entire song (like on the soundtrack), it is still bizarre having Keith sing to the wartime

troops being transported in the Pacific during WWII.

  • LOL! This brings back memories. I first saw this movie when I was in the Navy. My ship, a guided missile destroyer, had just picked up a bunch of cadets from the Japanese Naval Academy at Eta Jima that afternoon. And THIS was the movie the decided to show aboard ship that night. The Captain hit the roof! LOL! I can still see images of Japanese plane dropping torpedoes at Pearl Harbor to the tune of I am the Walrus. I am the eggman (dropping tordepo in the film) LOL!

  • I don't think a drummer like him could ever be forgotten, even if he lost his energy. There's no telling though, there were tons of musicians with drug habits just as bad as him who cleaned up there acts, in fact the drugs Keith accidentally overdosed on were pills meant to curb his alcoholism... It's sad, but tell ourselves these things to cope with losing a true legend...
