Ok, it is a .22! I really don't think it is necessary to have a "normal" but pad on it because it has such little recoil. Also, you can buy "normal" but pads for them.

Hey ..Did you say 20" barrel?? Manual said 22" (please check by tape measurement,thanks)
Where are the sights , I mean front sight (and rear sight) I can't see?? or the gun got no fire sights at all???
- What kind of scope did you have? Came with the gun?
- Is that Ok to shoot S, L and LR.

you use shorts, longs and long rifles in the xt-22tr ( tube fed version )

finally this answes my question it is just like the 925 but with a better trigger. i had a 925 2 years ago and liked everything about it but the trigger. because if this i traded it for a used mini14. now that they improved the trigger im definitely getting another. i like savage 22s as well but the bolt on a marlin just feels better

@nuke295 Sportsmans Warehouse $201, Great for hunting rabbits, squirrels, coons, coyotes, and anything in between. No it didnt come with a scope. I put that on there.
