@necrosaint1 Sorry but your logic is pure Turkish/Azerbaijani. I doubt you are Armenian. Armenians did not invade Azerbaijani sovereignty for fun it was for self defense. When Azerbaijanis were bombing Karabagh and slaughtering Armenians in Baku and Sumgait they had to self-defend. Stop spreading Azerbaijan's propaganda. We are stuck now, a few idiot president leaders of ours who claim Karabakh, are now stuck. If we give back the land to the Azeris, the 200-300,00 people in Karabakh will be unemployed in Armenia, and people in Armenia would have thought that war is for vain. We have only ourselves to blame and our stupid politicians. Had we after 1991, peacefully separated from the USSR, and recognized Azerbaijan as our neighbors without invading their sovereignty, everything would have been prosperous.

This is the main problem. My mother is an Armenian from Baku. Even she agrees, had we Armenians not been so self centered, our small nation would have prospered and advanced very fast in such a little amount of time. After Turkey gave us independence with the Russian-Turkish civil war, this was a time we could have used to progress. After getting our independence, we should have made peace with Ataturk, Azerbaijan, and Iran. From there with open borders, Armenia would have became magnificent.

A free Iran is only a majority-muslim state but not a Muslim-state the way IRI is.

The free Iran of pre-1979 had happy Armenians, Assyrians, Bahaiis, Jews living side by side and going to school together while few were too religious and while those who were religious practiced their religion freely.

Even now Iran is not under Sharia law the way Saudi-Arabia or Taliban are. I'm born a muslim but I left the country I love, Iran, because I couldn't tolerate living under mullah rule.

You misunderstood me.

The point 1 I made was that Armenia was richer when it was part of Soviet U.

Point 2 was; It'll be nice if Armenia and other neighbors with similar background join to Iran and remove borders to build 1 rich, strong country.

I didn't say Armenia suffers because of it's separation from Iran. Armenia wasn't part of Iran anyway unless you go back 1000 years.
