Kai and the Blade Sharks - Be Prepared (Japanese)

Hi, this is my first YouTube video. While the video is mine, certain components of it are not. Obviously, Beyblade and the song "Be Prepared" do not belong to me. Beyblade is property of Takao Aoki, and "Be Prepared" belongs to Disney. The subtitles that I put aren't mine either, they belong to Marii26, who took the time and effort to translate the lyrics for her own video. (P. S. I love your Disney translations!)

Unfortunately, Marii26 didn't translate the opening lines of Scar because it wasn't included in her video, so if anybody knows what Scar says before he starts to sing, please let me know!

Anyway, I just thought that the song suited Kai and the Blade Sharks (people tend to forget about them!) I was excited to find the song in Japanese, because then it would suit them even more. Poor Carlos ended up getting the short end of the stick in most of the video, though.

This will be pretty obvious in the video, but just to clarify:
Scar = Kai
Ed/Banzai = Carlos (I'm not sure about his Japanese name)
Shenzi = Blade Shark (don't remember his name, sorry)
Mufasa = Tyson/Takao
Simba = Kenny/Kyouji
Other hyenas = Other Blade Sharks

I love this version & I like the idea you put Kai as Scar. BTW, Carlos' Japanese name is Hiruta(ヒルタ) and the blader who is as Shenzi is Stewart (日本語名前: Suzukaスズカ).

You're welcome!^^ Actually, I've never seen a Disney-Movie in Japanese (though I'm a huge fan), and now... I guess, if I ever do, I won't be able stop comparing Scar with Kai - it DEFINITELY grew on us both XD

Nah, I know the difficulties in finding the best fitting between sound and lips myself... (I got a few vids on my 2nd account like that...)

But as mentioned, you did it quite well - and it can only get better, right?^^

As far as I know, "Shell Killers" IS the original name, yes^^

Thanks very much! The first time I heard this song in Japanese, I actually thought Scar's laugh was kind of lame. But I guess that after doing this video, it's grown on me. XD

I tried to synchronize the scenes with the music and voices as much as I could, but unfortunately, it didn't work out as well as I wanted in some parts. Oh, well. By the way, is "Shell Killers" the other name for the Blade Sharks in Japanese?

Oh my gosh, this is just brilliant! I can't believe how fitting the whole scenery is; I always loved "The Lion King" when I was a child and... Damn, the hyenas and the Blade Sharks/Shell Killers got so many similarities! XD Not to forget about Kai; he's just so damn evil as Scar... Gorgeous (especially his laugh at the end! Perfect)! You put the scenes well together, the lipsync is almost perfect! Great work, I really enjoyed it!
