Mr Narco he got you there!!! The crap wines are sold below cost. They do that crap in Maryland all the time. Like Corrbett Canyon. The stuff is garbage. Yeh sure I might save 1 dollar per bottle shopping in MD. But they jack up the price of the good stuff to cover the loss. Mr Narco this guy he should have spent more time finding out what the prices really are ,then creating a video about how the PA liquor stores are ripping people off.

Google GX-Liquor-bn-09-01.pdf and think this is a fair sampling done by a newspaper who would love to see the PLCB stores sold so they can sell ad space.

@winedogs07 Now that I you mention it I did see a lot MD plates in front of the State store. I don't recall seeing any PA plates at the store near my house. But anyway I wish we would tax the wine like you do in PA and take the sales tax off the clothes. I would rather pay tax on something I don't need that tax on something I do.

I just bought this stuff here Up in PA.
PA prices
Inniskillin Vidal Icewine 375ml Price: $19.99 (bought 2)
Grand Marnier 750ml Price: $34.99
Saved over 60 bucks buying it in PA.
Don't take my word for look it up yourself. Also I have problems finding some items here in Maryland. I learned a long time ago. Don't bother trying to get rare stuff in MD. I call PA first and 90% of the time they can get it.

They would have charged me:
Maryland Prices
Inniskillin Vidal Icewine 375ml Price: $54.99
Grand Marnier 750ml Price: $37.99
I figured out that it PA liquor prices are 0.502281803% cheaper than neighboring states using the above PDF. You state that prices are higher. Just where is your proof?

@MrNarco12 My issues with the PLBC pricing are targeted towards bottles of wine, not necessarily bottles of liquor, to which you are referring with that PDF. I'd be happy to provide current cost comparisons of common bottles of wine, though I find it interesting that your YouTube profile was created 2 days ago and you quickly commented on this video... You don't work for the PLCB, do you? ;)

You are nuts about thinking that PA prices are higher. I live in Maryland and shop in PA for wine. Sure you can find some items cheaper in Maryland, But overall PA is much cheaper!!!!

I don’t shop for wine in MD, so I can’t speak specifically to your state, but I can say with confidence that PA, on average, has significantly higher prices on wine than its neighboring states. A few points:
1. PA occasionally has good prices on certain bottles due to their purchasing power, but the wine is often of lesser quality or a poor vintage. And the in-store selection is pathetic compared to neighboring states. (more to come in following posts...)

2. For every bottle price you site in your comments, I can site 10 others that are significantly higher in PA. There’s a reason there are so many liquor stores immediately across the PA border. Next time you’re at one, note the number of PA license plates in the parking lot. PA wine drinkers know what I’m talking about.
3. PA does not offer case discounts, where other states will mark off 10% for every 12 bottles. Big savings.

@Wineguy45
But if you're lucky enough to find some good deals in PA and want to buy your wine here, as a resident of the state I thank you for contributing your 25% in taxes on every bottle :)
