The fun 'n games continue with part four of one of television's most long-standing and durable game shows, the Pyramid. This is from the week of 6/12/78-6/16/78, and features guest stars actress Sandy Duncan, and TV Poet Laureate, Nipsey Russell. ENJOY!
@jmossinca I just said so because I thought that it was just bending the rules

@gamshwfan I honestly think giving away the $200 was a classy thing to do. The guy was an incredible player, and this was a first in Pyramid history. To just let him go away empty-handed after such an amazing game wouldn't have felt right.

As Tom Kennedy said during the "France/French" incident on Password Plus, you couldn't do it "on THIS show." Keep in mind, Pyramid was slightly more relaxed in its rules than the Password games were.

That game was very rushed even though I don't think they would have had time to play the second winner's circle. Lynn seemed like a really good contestant; I know i'm saying that for everyone but I think that Bob and his casting people really found good people to play this. This episode was exciting; Bob's decision to give Bob the unrevealed $200 seemed okay but a bit unfair. He didn't win any cash but I think it would have been wise to do it off the air since it was a free giveaway.
