However, her outer beauty is unbelievably overshadowed by the immense inner beauty and light that shines from within this "Messenger of Hope."
No stranger to the spotlight, Sabrina's early success came in the fashion industry as a model from the age of 13. Sabrina's creative talent continued to blossom as she was crowned a National Dance Champion at the age of 18 in the United States in the category of Ballroom Dancing. From that age forward her modeling career took off and she never looked back and she quickly elevated herself to the status of Supermodel. Since then she has graced numerous international magazine covers and her resume includes multiple pictorials in the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Victoria's Secret Catalog and the internationally acclaimed Supermodels in the Rainforest. She has walked the world's top runways several times over including New York, Paris and Milan.
Her career blossomed even further via television when she was featured in a international advertisement campaign for Loreal and was also a leading cast member of the WE Women's Entertainment series "Singles in South Beach". She has hosted numerous events including the acclaimed "Latin Angels in Paradise" show and the 2008 Star Music Awards highlighting the best of Independent Music at the Henry Ford Theatre in Hollywood, CA.
Never being one to sit still for too long, her next creative venture came in the form of her debut solo album entitled "Come As You Are" which was released in 2005. She co-wrote 11 of the 13 tracks and worked with some of the industry's best on this album including 5 time Billboard Latin Producer of the Year Rudy Perez (Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Julio Iglesias , Jose Feliciano). Perez offered the title track which he also produced and arranged. The single "Look What We've Become" was mixed and engineered by Grammy award winner Tom Lord-Alge (Santana, Avril Lavigne, Steve Winwood). This debut album was rewarded with great reviews from industry tastemakers and was featured on American Airlines and British Airways in-flight programming. "Breathe Again" was also featured in the motion picture "The Last Word" starring Winona Ryder which premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.
Sabrina's latest creation could be her most challenging and rewarding. After decades of wearing other designer's creations, she finally decided it was time for her to take all of that knowledge and experience in the Fashion World and put it to good use. In late 2008, she began designing her own fashion line entitled "Empowering Women Collection" which is set to have it's official launch at the 11th annual Miami Fashion Week due be held the 3rd week of March 2009. A very strong component of the Sabrina Barnett brand is concentrated on giving back and service. She has been working with The Woman's Cancer Association of the University of Miami Silver Angels for nearly 4 years and as gifted them with original songs and designs for their annual fundraisers. Sabrina Barnett is ready to tackle the world of fashion once again, yet this time from another vantage point. This multi-talented and multi-lingual, yes she is fluent in 5 languages, is a force to be reckoned with. She is an international ambassador of truth, love and hope and will take her message to every corner of the world through her motivational speaking, music & fashion designs.
