  • why didn't I come across this when I was trying to understand DoF & Diffraction. As much as I have read online.. This is the best .. THE BEST explanation.

  • on my camcorder i never adjust the dof because to do so i must adjust the iris which makes the picture way too dark, at f2.8 in a really bright room it's pitch black..how do i fix this?

  • Great explanation. I was shooting some igloo building a couple of weeks ago and wished I'd had an external ND filter as I hear that on the my camera (Panny HMC40) the automatic ND filter is not strong enough. I didn't realize that it may of caused the footage to be softer, thanks for the explanation.

  • If you are reffering to the camera he was using, it's the sony ex3 and they have 1/2 inch cmos sensors.

  • what size sensor did that camera have?
