  • Hey Benjamin. Great video, thanks!

I have a bunch of questions because i plan to travel from the east to the westcoast. Do you think its possible in about 2 month? Do you have a special hint whats the best option to spend nights while travelling with hitch hiking? I dont really worry about safety on that trip but i have friends in the us who told me not to go hitch hiking in the us because it would be "so dangerous". have you had any bad experiences?

    Thank you so much!

    Konstantin

  • (about the sleeping thing: I am registered on couchsurfing and used it a few times, but i expect it to be quite hard using it while hitchhiking, because you never know when you will be where and can't be sure where exactly you gonna land... thanks for your tipps!!)

  • @ProduktionK It is tough but I've used a smart phone while sleeping out of a city to set up places in the city for tomorrow.

  • @ProduktionK It is possible. My girlfriend and I have been able to finish in almost a month. I recommend bringing a tent and camping in nature. I've never had any dangerous experiences, but some bad ones (I've had to walk a lot or couldn't get rides, etc.)

  • hey would you think its hard to go from jurez mexico to costa rica?

  • @mysticarbol I'm not sure. Never hitchhiked there.

  • @AdventureSauce alright man, enjoy yourself

  • @AdventureSauce Ok, I'm going to try it. Thank you for the inspiration and info!!

  • @skeletor666satancore Less is better. I have one hiking pack that is loaded to the gills. I've had friends have a backpack and guitar in hand which works. But just remember that you might be walking 10-15 miles at any minute.

  • I'm a musician lookin for a good trip. how much gear would you say is appropriate beyond basic clothing? just my guitar? would my snare be ok? what would be deemed "appropriate"? in your opinion of course.
