Capital Airport's beautiful new Terminal 3 had just opened on our last trip to Beijing before the Olympics. Don't stress the point of landing in an Asian country and pay to have someone meet and/or transfer you. It's a snap. Every important sign is in Chinese AND English. Little footprints and arrows on the floor to point your direction and an abundance of food courts and shops.

Once the health officials let you disembark (Swine Flu), it's into another line to relinquish health forms, through heat sensors in case you have a temperature, customs, and downstairs to the handy-dandy ATM and taxis. Always carry your hotel's telephone number so the taxi driver can whip out his cell phone and call for directions. Beijing has over 523 MILLION cell phone users! Nee-how (hello), Beijing.

Mind you, give the communist, sorry Chinese government one thing, they take serious and do lock off, shut down, but the US wants the borders open, schools open, hmm, okay then.

In fact seem keen to have everything open, spread it around like love, like a hug, it's okay cause we'll just jab you with our potion and you'll be fine, we hope, ha ha ha ha, .
