seeing as most women "work" twice as much as their husbands then fine. i'd take the 40 hour workweek over caring for kids, doing all the housework, AND holding down a day job...
do people still think that housewives just sit at home and watch tv?

I think its up to the individual how they want to live their life. If you wanna be a housewife, be a housewife, if you want to be a stay at home dad, be a stay at home dad. I don't think women should be penalized for being housewives, that's the way things seem to be heading now and its a little ridiculous.
