CBS is drunk on power.They have lead the ratings these last few years,and now take their viewers and even their employee's for granted.They no longer care about quality programs, it's all about the bottom line.A Gifted Man was a great,critically acclaimed show, it lead the over all ratings on Friday nights, however, it did not lead the 18 to 49 demographic, therefore CBS pulled the plug .NO MORE CBS for me! Over 49?You dont count at CBS, join me in TUNING OUT CBS, change your viewing choices!

Patrick Wilson tweets about A Gifted Man's cancellation below, CBS has lost it's way, apparently they dont care about their viewers or their employee's
"So...shocking to no one:A Gifted Man is done.Found out via email..and not from the network. Stay classy. Thanks to AGM fans! Great cast/crew," Wilson tweeted.
A few minutes later, Wilson added: "Thanks for the AGM love...but now that it's 'official,' I couldn't be happier. As good as it was (sometimes) it was not what I signed on for."

On May 10, it was confirmed that A Gifted Man was cancelled by CBS. :(

I wish I had seen this trailer in the Fall. I only just found out about this show a month ago and fell in love with all the characters. This show has great writers/directors/actors and deserves a second season - I would love to see these characters developing, like Michael Holt after the next to final episode - he lightened up, and I found that man can REALLY sing! Come on, CBS, renew this show.

This is the best new show of the 2011/2012 TV season. Its drawing over 9.2 million viewers per episode and is the second highest viewed show on Friday nights, all that said, CBS is looking at cancelling this show because it APPARENTLY, according to the Neilson ratings, does not do well enough with viewers 18 -49. Should everything we see be based on the 18 - 49 demographic, or should a lot of viewers watching a quality show matter too? Let CBS know you want this great show to remain on TV!
