ISKCON is sometimes accused of being sexist and misoginystic. Well, we have Mukhya Devi Dasi as temple president in Alachua, Florida. Women hold positions of authority throughout ISKCON. Women give classes and lead kirtans, as you'll see here. What is the difficulty!? So Vrajabhumi, eat your heart out.
It is easy to find faults with everything but it's very difficult to see the good in all things.
PS. Due to the high pitch of the lead singer the enthusiastic men (yes, they were brahmacari's) had difficulty achieving the high note in response. They compensated by chanting louder and my camera microphone was accidentally set to manual which made it worse.

  • God awful racket;

    sorry, but for me the mike setting being off leads to a distortion that hurts the ears.

    NO transcendental value at all despite the claim...

  • Then don't listen! I can't change the recording. I may agree with every point except the transcendental one but at the end of the day we have to learn the art of balance and stop finding faults even when they are.

    Chant Hare Krishna and be happy!

  • @HTdasa

    You should grow up, listen to the case I make...and do better...

    you are lazy and vain.

    The person who does not find faults and try and improve things....is dead.

  • @Rexicano

    Oh, and what about my other recordings? I put that video up because it has some redeeming features.

    Anyway, you are not just a one dimensional fault finder but are insultive to boot. What do your insults do for improvement? Improvement of what for gods sake? What's done is done! Anyway, I changed my camera recently and have learned to use it better.

    Anyway, are you always so offensive and self opinionated? You really do read like a spiritually asphyxiated buffoon.

    Ta ta for now.

  • @HTdasa

    What a crybaby;

    oh, such an enlightened one...

    who goes on to complain of insults...

    and then launches attacks after crying.

    I had the feeling you were just a hypocrite.

  • @Rexicano

    Just testing you.

  • In Narad Purana, Sri hari Vishnu told Narad, "Where ever his devotees do kirtan, he is always present there". "Hare Krishna, Hare rama" the maha mantra of devotion.

  • Thank you for your support. These opinions do not come from within ISKCON. Prabhupada would see the enthusiastic devotion and overlook such things. Mind you I should be less sensitive. Hare Krishna!

  • Kirtana is kirtana, Krishna is pleased whether the mic level is high or low, or the singing is high or low in pitch. The Names are there, that is all that matters! Thank you for posting, Hare Krishna!

  • Well hello there,

    Yes, noisy it is, but I hear through shastra chaksus not through mundane likes and dislikes or mental speculation. It was only a cheap camera, what can one expect from time to time. Anyway, the holy name is the holy name and your criticism doesn't change that!
