We at UAW 2069 located in Dublin Virginia are on strike since Feb 1, 2008 at 12:01pm all UAW workers walked out due to a contract agreement that has yet to be met at this time. Both parties are still trying to come to an agreement and have yet. We all are very up set with this and all of us UAW workers are working 24 hours around the clock picketing. Other UAW and USW of America have been supporting by standing with signs walking the picket line with us. We would all like to thanks those that are supporting.
my dad was out during the middle of the night haha

I know how it is to live on $200 dollars a week my husband and I both work for American Axle in Detroit, Michigan local 235 and have been on strike since Feb.26 2008. We have to stay strong because this fight is not just for us but for every UAW workers future.

That stinks though how the UAW international folks ripped-off everybody's first 200 bucks. "Administrative processing costs" = slush fund.

Apparently we lasted long enough to get what we needed. Now go along "opn4anything" and flip your burger, and we'll go on building trucks!!!!

We can last as long as we have to on $200 a week. I can still remember not being paid hardly that much to work 40 hours a week in a furniture factory! I MADE IT THEN AND WILL DAMN SURE MAKE IT NOW.
