The 101 Strings Orchestra issued their first LP in 1957; by 1967, 101 Strings had sold over 50,000,000 records throughout the world.

"Fascination" was composed in 1932 by F.D. Marchetti, with lyrics by Maurice de Féraudy (and English lyrics by Dick Manning). The song was popularized in the 1957 movie, "Love in the Afternoon."

I know what you mean. I've old LP's re-mastered by a studio and the result in CD format sounds very harsh.

Sound from vinyl is better than CD. I've recorded many of my old LP's onto CD's and something seems to get lost in the transition. This posted song, "Fascination", is an example of what I mean. Thanks!
