FIrst heard Paul Franklin on the Notting Hillbillies record - then you find all these other dudes and your eyes get opened in a big way to the monstrous talent level that's out there. You can sort of sense the egos here - they don't smile much - it's like they're under pressure to retain the God status - I can spot that but if you just listen...well that's a state of grace in itself.

That slow pedal steel solo is one of the best I've ever heard, great tone and feel.

SUCH SUCH SUCH good taste at phrasing is not easily found... Brent kicks ass. And I never payed attention to slide guitar until I heard Paul. Thes musicians just leave me flabbergasted :P
