What does Layne have to do with this song? Let the man lay in peace. Stop dragging his name through mud simply because you can't accept other talents or that you don't own the band nor the name AIC.
Alice in Chains never covered this song with Layne so comparing William's performance with Layne is null and void.
And i personally don't get all the worship of Layne. He was a great singer but he wasn't the only great singer. I'm glad William doesn't sound like him. That would have been boring.

duvall doesn't have a problem hitting the high notes. he just doesn't have the grit in his voice or the credibility to sing songs like "junkhead".
