Writing Hiragana 9 shows how to write the 9th row of hiragana (aka, the "r" line) with the correct stroke order (from left to right, then top to bottom).

    There are some exceptions when writing hiragana.

    'ri' in hiragana can be written in two ways り or リ.

    This り is ONLY used in hiragana and is considered standard.

    It is NOT to be use in katakana.

    This リ is also used in katakana (It is the katakana 'ri').

  • り's lines should be connected? My り is just little too curvy than リ. Lines are separate.
