There are some exceptions when writing hiragana.

'ri' in hiragana can be written in two ways り or リ.

This り is ONLY used in hiragana and is considered standard.

It is NOT to be use in katakana.

This リ is also used in katakana (It is the katakana 'ri').

り's lines should be connected? My り is just little too curvy than リ. Lines are separate.
