How to speed up your computer - PART 1 (HD)

This video will show you how you can speed up your computer in under two minutes using Microsoft Configuration.

NOTE: If you are unsure whether you remove something from Startup or Services, always check on google and you will see if it is safe to remove it.

GUIDE:

Windows Vista/7:
1) Go to Start. Use the search function to search for 'msconfig'.
2) Go to the Startup tab. Here you can review what is loading up when you boot up your computer. Check/Uncheck any boxes you feel you do not need as soon as you start your computer. You can always start them manually after boot up.
3) Click apply.
4) Go to the Services tab. Check the box: 'Hide all Microsoft Services'. Then, as you did before, uncheck any boxes you don't need.
5) Click apply, then OK.
6) Choose whether to restart now or later.

Windows XP:
1) Go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, run. Type 'msconfig' and then press OK.
2) Go to the Startup tab. Here you can review what is loading up when you boot up your computer. Check/Uncheck any boxes you feel you do not need as soon as you start your computer. You can always start them manually after boot up.
3) Click apply.
4) Go to the Services tab. Check the box: 'Hide all Microsoft Services'. Then, as you did before, uncheck any boxes you don't need.
5) Click apply, then OK.
6) Choose whether to restart now or later.
