The great but almost forgotten Jody Williams is playing guitar on this track as he did on a number of great mid-50s tracks (Bo Diddley's 1956 Who Do You Love is another of Jody's incredible trademark solos and comping -- he's on a lot of Chess's 50's classics.) The Chess Bros. and the music biz in general was such a rip off industry that Williams got a day job and his guitar sat under his bed for 3 decades before he rejoined the scene and could make a living. Now that's pathetic.

Billy Boy is a Progenitor, a Bluesman with a capital B, of the highest caliber! Unfortunately I must agree with sunnyrhoades9 the arrogation of the music is worse than ever and those behind it are making a shameful travesty of a cultural heritage they understand no more than their parents and grandparents did when they called the Blues race music. Pitiful is an understatement but it'll have to do...for now.

Wow I never heard of this Singer , he's awesome , who this is the kind of stuff all the rock stars got their riffs -like Keith Richards Brian Jones , The Beatles - Elvis .. wow this original stuff was always hidden away - Must have been and still is very Racist In The U.S.A..
