  • what size sails are they sailing. the wind is cranking

  • I'd say he's sailing a 6.7m² RS6 or more but not much...

  • @fronabulax63 i said that e.g. antoine usually isn´t overpowered and not that im faster...

    lol

  • @1337insanity you think you are faster (then antoine) with a smaller sail?

  • @fronabulax63 being overpowered means to not being able to control the sail and so you loose a lot of speed

why would you be overpowered in racing when you loose speed? racing is not always overpowered only because there are bigger sails used

  • @1337insanity , racing is always overpowered.

  • @northwarp123 nope, i´t´s not the trick to go fast, he´s just overpowered and doesn´t have enough weight to keep the board stable on the water

normally of course it´s good to get the board out of the water, but in this case it´s just being overpwoered :)

  • Not neccesarily. If you think of the sweet spot it says that you must only lean backward if you get a lot of power in sail. If youre losing wind, lean forward to keep a steady speed. :)

  • It's really nice to finally see a windsurfing clip without music. This wind really gives you an idea about the conditions ^^

  • Riding the fin a rear foot heavy stance to keep the board off the chop. Then comes the fun of the jibe. It's helpful to analyze the technique of such good power riders. Hat's off to them it looks like more pain than pleasure.

Albeau has said he uses only 7.5 sails in 20 knots so upper 6 is a good bet.
