Eamonn O'Cuiv Ashford Castle Protest Against Owner Gerry Barrett Blocking Residents Right Of Way

Though mired in debt, controversial property developer Gerry Barrett still retains operational control over Ashford Castle in Cong, County Mayo. Here, the people of Cong, councillors and politicians protest over Barrett's closure of a public right of way in the estate. Eamonn O'Cuiv TD reasserts the argument against Barrett by stating that public monies have been used to fix roads in the Castle making it illegal for him to impede the public right of way.
