idiot. flacco counts only 6 mil against the cap which is less than last year and the ravens chose to let alot of them leave. they will get leaner and better. kruger got over paid and he got replaced with an upgrade in dumervil, etc. and ravens are smart and know what they are doing

Kruger and Ellerbe's contributions can be replaceable for less cash. We're gutting the team now of older guys so we don't have to for the next 5 years.

Why would they show it when they wanted to respect the current leaders by deferring to them? Ray and Ed were here long enough for teammates to learn from them. Jameel McClain is still there, and he was higher in the depth chart than Ellerbe until he got injured. Pitta still has one more year, and Dickson is replaceable. Flacco only had slow possession guys and Cameron for his OC, but still have three AFCCG in his belt.

last spark of lewis leave i mean and then they trade anquin boldin and havent resigned pitta or dickson the ravens are crippling flacco because he only has jones and smith now that isnt to many options. flacco is good but he cant win with two good recievers and nothing else

they wont be able to lead like lewis or reed because if suggs or ngata were the future leaders they would have shown it by now but they didnt they ran their plays they werent playing to make sure the other players did their part and kruger and ellerbe would have had great years had the ravens actually given them a contract because if u spend ur whole under ray lewis then you will learn enough to be a starter and how to play ur position lewis made kruger and ellerbe great and the ravens let the

besides ray, the only other player im most proud of for the super bowl is michael oher. how can you not like him especially after knowing his past. epic story! #TheBlindSide

Kruger and Ellerbe were not cut, they were FA's who were going to be overpaid by other teams. Ravens never pay players above their perceived worth. Dumervil is a DE/OLB, so he replaces Kruger. His contract was cheaper than what the browns paid Kruger, who only had one good year. You don't pay 5 years/$40 million to a promising player, you give it to a proven steady perfomer. As for leadership, there are still plenty left in Suggs, Ngata, and Webb.
