Film - Olanda, 2004 - Far vedere o no il film che è costato la vita al suo autore Theo Van Gogh, assassinato da un fanatico in Olanda proprio "a causa" della sua opera cinematografica? Un film pericoloso per chiunque vi si sia avvicinato, di fatto censurato perché nessuno ha il coraggio di farlo vedere. Il 2 novembre 2004 Theo van Gogh veniva massacrato in Olanda, da sempre patria e rifugio degli spiriti liberi, (da Spinoza a Locke), reo di aver girato Submission, un cortometraggio che parla dellorribile condizione a cui vengono sottoposte milioni di donne nel nome dellIslam. La coautrice del film, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, tuttora sotto protezione, si definisce la prima musulmana della mia generazione che ha subito il taglio del clitoride e il matrimonio forzato e può articolare le sue opinioni in pubblico.
Tutte le grandi religioni organizzate, sono dominate dagli uomini, da millenni. Maschi sono gli interpreti delle sacre scritture, maschi sono gli esegeti, i giudici e custodi della dottrina, maschi sono i sacerdoti, gli imam, i bramini e i rabbini, maschi sono i papi e i pope, i dalai lama, e, guarda caso, maschi sono anche gli stessi fondatori delle religioni. A questo punto, è pura coincidenza che in tutte le culture permeate da questi dei, precetti, inferni e paradisi, le donne, da sempre, siano state torturate, stuprate, bastonate, frustate, lapidate, bruciate sul rogo, infibulate, relegate in harem, sposate a 12 anni in matrimoni prestabiliti, gettate sui roghi dei mariti deceduti (il sati indù), sfigurate e uccise da quelli rimasti vivi, e infine costrette, per il bene di una società ordinata e per i soliti valori..!

I don't get wat ppl get so worked up about. She is criticizing a religion which in this case is Islam. She has a right to if she feels like it. She's a well read and very smart woman and her arguments r very good. I'm Christian but i really don't mind anyone criticizin it...in fact..i criticize it a lot myself...I think all religions should b criticized cuz they all have good things and bad things...and anyone who doesn't want to admit that is living in denial...but that's their issue. @gabrishka21 Please name one thing, just one thing that Jesus Christ did that was "bad". There is nothing. You claim to be a Christian. Well, it seems as though you are extremely immature in your Christian faith or an extremely luke-warm if not one. A genuine Christian would never say such and definitely follows what the Holy Spirit led Jude to write in exhorting us Christians to do in Jude 3.

Anyone who is a true believer will find good in the negative, and there is only 1 God, and 1 savior. If you do not get the results or answers that you want maybe you need to find the real Savior.

I am sorry, but its not about religion. Religion is a man made belief or group of people trying to understand the words and laws of God. Religion is in your head, whereas faith and God is in your heart and soul. I myself am Christian.

@xtblueprint I critizise them for their reactions as a whole it wasnt just one person it was a large part of them and then you roll out the "imams" who sit back and decry how terrible the west is how "they" do terrible things like letting women walk around uncovered, or draw cartoons that vilify their prophet if anything islam deserves ridicule and scorn less than anger.
