Within a historical context, we've been taught to hate ourselves. Today, we must counter this paradigm of self-hate and create a new, progressive black radical intellectual consciousness.

Today, the revolution is individualized and must be directed through education. We must educate our youth not in a position of being proud of our blackness and appreciating it to the fullest; this positionality should not be put in a paradox that is built on the consciousness of superiority and hate, but taking pride of who we are as people of color.

The only way to combat neo-Jim Crow we must go back to the south and help educate our people. The educational system of the south is visibly and systematically unjust. It is our obligation, as black intellectual radicals; to keep Dr. Davis and all other voices of Black revolutionaries of the past alive b/c it is our only trajectory for mental liberation and cultural agency.
