@socalboh, i heard something from another guy on youtube about soot and how clean it is, and its true. all the "black smoke" is just soot, soot is a form of carbon which falls back to the ground, plants survive off of carbon so diesel really is better than gas. i dont see gas helping the plants at all. lol.

truck had a built tranny, plus the only time it possibly could hurt the tranny is during spoolup when the converter is slipping and its fine as soon as the turbo lights and the tires start spinning.

@banksforddiesel99 im a cummins fanatic but my first was a '97 7.3L and its hard to beat a good ole 7.3L. damn goo looking truck. didnt u compete n the 2007 diesel power challenge. gotta have a hellacious truck for that
