I used to be UPC and have many wonderful friends (and parents) who still are. My biggest issue is that there is always contention about "sheep stealing" and "proselyting". What about the drug addicts, drunks, abused children, and overall hurting people who are out there in the world??? Let people wander back and forth between churches if they wish! It's a free country! But go after the LOST souls and LOST sheep and quit boo-hooing about "so and so stole our sheep!".

@Adamv87 WPF Is the same thing as the UPC. WPF is what the UPC was 40 years ago.

My church use to be in UPC and they are now in WPF! WPF has keep standards and things that are right and are found in the Bible that UPC hasnt! Thats all!! Just look at what UPC is saying and line it up with the Bible! Does it line up?? You have to say that about WPF also does it line up to the Bible??

I was raised in the UPC under Larson in San Diego and it was the best years in my life....I agree with Becky because I still consider myself pentecostal even though I havent gone to church for years, but I still have my faith and love for God. I know Im not the only one because most of our youth group of over 100 have fallen away as I have including my entire family, but I know they still love the Lord and are good honest people.

Good grief...you'd think that the UPC was "THE" church, the way some people think. The UPC is just an organization...and that's ALL it is. The people who left had their reasons, and Resolution Four was not the sole reason--it was simply the cherry on top. They're not hurting you, they ARE entitled to make fellowship arrangements with others who share their views, I think they have bent over backwards to not found a fellowship based on bashing others. Why don't you leave the judgment to God?
