FFXII NLB Challenge: Chaos (Part I)

I found Chaos to be astoundingly difficult. I fought against him three times, and his is a case where the third time's the charm.

For the first fight, I tried just using Balance Motes right from the start, and got my entire party KO'd before taking him below 50% HP.

In the second fight, I used a mix of Balance Motes and KoRs, and got him to critical before he killed everyone.

This time, I bit the bullet and used Scathe Motes.

This first half covers my opening approach (total failure), and the bulk of the damage done.

Why never use Dark Matter ??

I've just never gone out of my way to get one. It's the only ??? spot on my items list when I set my gambits.

This is really the first fight where I wished I had one. I've thrown enough KoRs to charge up 5 DMs at this point, and I think I'll take the time to nab one before going after Ultima.

chaos was a fucking pussy for me. I was using gil toss on him and I beat him on my first try. Same thing with ultima too, she was easy also.
