Bolivia, La Paz. IRI Prosthesis clinic video

This is a video of the prosthesis clinic where I volunteered in La Paz, Bolivia. The clinic's name is Instituto de Rehabilitacion Infantil. It serves low income Bolivian amputees. I have been trying to do my best to modernize and improve the prosthesis that they can offer as well as increase the number of children they can offer them to. This video shows the current state of the clinic as well as one boy who we helped on the day I made the video.

I am now working with the Rotary Club La Paz San Pedro to help them open their own new prosthesis center, also for low income Bolivians.

(As a further note: I realized after I had published this video that the boy does have a knee, contrary to what I state in the video. But that fact does not make his life any more pleasant nor does it contract the fact that this clinic is seriously underfunded and in desperate need to support to help some many more Bolivian's such as this boy.)

I am currently writing a proposal to build a new clinic for the Rotary club, submitting a grant to the Hanger Foundation and I am also searching for international funding to help do as as well as trying to find a prosthetic arm for a little boy.
