Hey sorry for the late response, but "no" I didn't use it. Since my heel is done in rhinestones I just pull it on/off by the heel. I think if you do a shoe with "all" mirrors then you'll need to figure out how to make it safer to get in on & off. I have the plastic mirror from Hobby Lobby and its not as "flashy" but it may be a good alternative
